Memoir (from French: mémoire: memoria, meaning memory or reminiscence): a collection of memories that an individual writes about moments or events, both public or private, that took place in the subject’s life. The assertions made in the work are understood to be factual.
Introspection: the observation or examination of one’s own mental and emotional state, mental processes etc.; the act of looking within oneself or the tendency or disposition to do this.
Insignificant: small or not noticeable, and therefore not considered important.
Presence: the physical act of being somewhere or an influence or spirit of someone who is in a place but not seen.
